On Thursday, May 20, at 7 pm, we will be having a special Troop Meeting event: the dedication of the newly built Flag Retirement Area.

This was Adam Tjarksen's recent Eagle Service Project, and he worked with the American Legion, City of Lake Forest, and the LF Fire & Police departments. Adam will be leading this troop meeting event, alongside other Scouts who worked on this project. City of Lake Forest Mayor George Pandaleon is planning to participate in the event, and other city officials, Cub Scouts, and media to also may be attending. As part of the dedication, American Legion personnel will be demonstrating a proper flag retirement ceremony.
